Restoration of Old Icons

Oksana, a graduate of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Ilia Glazunov (Moscow), is a specialist in the restoration of icons. His work includes all types of interventions on wood, the support layer (levkas), the pictorial layer and the gilding (cleaning, disinsection, disinfection, reinforcement, filling gaps, repigmentation, gilding, final protective layer), always in compliance with the canons of reversibility required in restoration.
